Morning all,
As in a previous thread, I've bee nlooking at getting new suspension forks for my '99 Giant.
Now I've searched this site, and looked over the manufacturers sites, but can't find the length of an uncut steerer tube on a new pair of forks.
I've been looking around ebay, and had a few sellers tell me that the uncut steerer lenght was around 200 mm or so.My current steerer tube comes in at about 250mm. This is on a 23.5" frame. Can anyone tell me what manufacturers usually spec as a length, 'cos I'm a little worried that none will be long enough.
Thanks, Jess.

generally a new fork will have a steerer long enough for any frame."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
