i have recently got a second hand specilized hardrock from my friend which upgraded his bike. i think it is 6 yeas old. it has v brakes on but no mounts for disc brakes i was wondering if there is any way i can upgrade to discs. i have seen universal adaptors but they say they dont fit speacilized. i was wondering if there is anything out there to convert from v brakes to discs.
thanks

Upgrading to discs would require new wheels, new forks, new frames and the brakes. You're money would be better spent elsewhere on the bike, post up a list of parts and people will advise you and what to focus on.0

There is an adaptor called the 'A2Z' which may fit - have a google.
You may need new shifters too if they are integrated to the old brake levers.0 -
so is the a2z just one thing or is there different models for different frames?0

Only one I think could be wrong. They are for frames with flat dropouts.0
