Just bought the ATC2000 helmet cam, :D now waiting impatiently for the delivery  This one comes with a 2Gb memory card. I noticed quite a few people use it. Is it a good buy??? (haha, I should have asked this question before I bought it...just couldn't help it  ).

What are the pro's and con's Mikey? - I've been thinking about asking Santa for one for Xmas but wouldn't want to waste his time if not suitable!

    The Pros:
    Small, self contained, and unobtrusive
Easy to start and stop filming
No tape - just records straight to an SD card, and you can get a lot of best quality footage onto a 2GB card.
640x480 resolution and 30fps on a 2GB SD card gives you about an hour
    Weatherproof

    The Cons:
Sound quality is really bad - you almost can't hear what people are saying near the camera
Video quality isn't great, but then what do you expect at this price and size!
To fit my commute both ways onto the card, I need to reduce either the size or the fps, and that can mean I don't get a readable view of a registration plate if a motorist passes me at speed.

Overall I'm very chuffed with this camera!! I'm planning to get something more expensive with better quality sound and video, but I'll still keep the ATC-2000 as a rearward facing camera.

Presumably an extra card, or a replacement bigger card would solve that. Or just download the movie while at work?

All true, but I'm after minimal fuss really. It's a pity the camera doesn't support 4GB cards, or apparently it might, but there's a 2GB max since I think it uses FAT32. Also I can't really download at work as I work outdoors with no facilities.
