Currently on holiday with the missus in gorgeous place in Thailand. She has just berated me for checking the bikeradar website. It was nice to forget about things for a few days, but now I'm starting to look forward to the weekend run in the cold/wet, So....am I?
(I may not get to see the results for a few days due to holiday excursion commitments, making up to wife, etc)

You're not a loser, just a sad case like many of us.
  • It is a little worrying, but I'd do the same. Just not get caught.

Where in Thailand are you? If you were close by, you could pop in for a cup of tea!

A loser would be holidaying in Blackpool.
I'd rather walk than use Shimano
  • Don't worry about it. My wife gave me pelters for checking various cycling websites when we were on hliday in Rhodes earlier this year. I just tried to ignore her

Force your miisus to go on a cycling holiday with you - then we'd respect you.

  • Whilst in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago mrs onehip came with me to a bike shop on the outskirts of town - about a 25min cab ride. Although the foot went down when i suggested hiring some bikes.
  • is it your honeymoon? it sounds like she needs to understand your needs a bit better. perhaps you should show her around all the cycling websites and give her a test afterwards? it would help pass the time at the very least.
  • is it your honeymoon?.

afraid not, we have been married for 15 years. She already knows a few cycling websites as I send her web page links every Xmas for pressie hints. :)
