Need a replacement pair for Shimano RSX callipers Should i go for fibrax or Kool stop ???

  • Koolstop Salmons were raved about earlier in the year, but now I actually want to get a set, none of my usual suspect webistes seem to stock them!

    Would appreciate a link to somewhere in stock ;)

    Swissstop GHPs assuming you're using ally and not carbon.
    Available from Condor in London, or from Wiggle online.
    The "Flash" Swissstops are the GHPs in Shimano shoes.

    Koolstops - Try Sigma Cycles in Kingston upon Thames - They may have them in.

    Fibrax pads are underated. Good value for money.

    I have been using Koolstop Salmon for over a year now, summer and winter. They perform much better than the Shimano 9sp Dura-ace ones. Good in the dry, even better in the wet and kind to rims. I came down the Tourmalet in a major rainstorm last year and had total confidence in them. I was not hanging about either as it was bitterly cold.

    Another fan of koolstop salmon. They've made me feel a lot safer on my commute.

    I have gone to wiggle They have the replacement cartridges ,but as with previous entry i need the complete unit ,shoes as well Anyone know where i can get these Cheers
