Im having trouble working out which year these parts are for XT disc brakes.

Caliper - BR M765
Leaver - BL M756

What i need to know is which year the part are. I have my LBS opffing to sell these to me at a discount to clear his stock and fit them so i want to know if they are worth buying.

thanks

thanks for this, i did run a srearch but couldnt find that topic.

Looks like they are 04s according to shimanos site. Im looking for an 07 code to match to merlins stock as the pic looks like it says 765 on the caliper. I phoned them and they have no idea.

When looking online all I can find is XT from 04 (765), the XT from 08 (775). I know it sounds like the 04 was the last update but can somone confirm this for me?
If so are these better then the 07 juicy 5?

    Thanks in advance

ok sussed it out (finally) and learnt to take seeing "2008" tagged on a product with a pinch of salt in the process.

Seems the previous XT groupset to which these belong was released in 04 and has only just been superseded.

Just leaves me with the question which is best Avid Juicy 5 2007 or Shimano XT BR M765 calliper and BC M756 leavers?

how ever much i would like a set of oros that would only buy me one brake on my current budget.

I has to be between these two. The reviews of them seem quite comparable from what i have found so far.
