XT/XTR rotors and Formula Oro brakes

Anybody tried the above combination? Will it work together with no problems? Will the Formula pads be OK to use with the rotors?

    As long as the mount for the new brake doesn't space it out further then there should be no problems.

    I was thinking of using formula oro rotors with XT brakes if it is possible.

    How much do you gain in terms of performance from doing this? I am told the XT rotors can easily overheat.

    Also do the formula brackets have to be used or can it be done only using the forumula rotor and the rest being standard XT kit?

    anyone know if i can use oro rotors or even avid with XTs? I cant find anything on google.
