Hi. I may be buying a specialized rockhopper soon and i am wondering if you could replace the forks with bigger travel. Something like 140-160ish. If you could recommend any forks that could take a beating every weekend under 200 quid that would be great!

You could, but would invalidate the warrenty - (I'm presuming you are buying the bike new here).

Why spend another 200 quid on forks - buy a bike better suited to your riding / better bike in the first place...... ?

Would totally buhher the handling up as well. 100mm max on this bike.
