hi everybody
I'm new to this forum and I really need help in buying a new bke
I'm getting a new bike in the new year but I really can't
find the right bike!
I'm hoping to use it for dirt dumps, off road and possibly try my hand at down hill
but I don't really want to spend anymore than around £500-£800 or if I need full sus or not I've been looking at the identity 66s and the Iron horse sachem 4.0, but do any of you guys have any suggestions
thanx
Jorge

Hi Jorge,
I will be updating the What Bike page shortly, still gathering info on new 2008 models.
You could get a full on dirt jump bike, but you will find it compromised for anything but that: similialry for a DH bike; a hardcore hardtail may be a better option, something along the lines of this:

Slightly shorter frame than an XC bike, but long fork and tough components make it a versatile all rounder.0 -
yeah thats the type of bike I was looking for to be honest, however, for the same amount of money you could buy the iron horse sachem which has full suspension :S
