GT Aggressor XC 1 2008 or Carrera Fury 2008?

Hi there I have a voucher for £500 from Halfords coming to me in January through a cycle to work program and I am going to get a mountain bike and I have decided (finally after much thought I must say!) on either of the 2 below:

Carrera Fury 2008

GT Aggressor XC1 2008

I cant find any reviews on the GT and loads of reviews of the Fury, I was wondering if any one had any opinions on either bike and which one is the better bike in your opinion and why?
I think the GT is the better bike/components hence the extra £50

Both are good bikes for the money, the Fury probably the better specced of the two (lighter, multi butted frame and Tora 318 fork). Its going to be a case of trying them out and seeing what feels best.

when do the 2008 lines come out though? my mate wants 2 get the 2008 carrera vulcan for xc`ing.
