Hi All

Ok i am going to replace the brake pads on my GT Avalanche 1.0 Disc 2007 with Tektro Auriga comp discs due to squeaking in the wet what pads do you all recommend i see there are green, red, and gold ones in the Ebc range and similar in the Fibrax range.
I use my bike for riding to work on roads but at weekends do like to go off road through as much mud and dirt as possible Very Happy Very Happy .

What do you all think would be best

Many thanks

Roger

ive used fibrax on my xt brakes and they are pretty good. i used ebc on the reign (wheni still had it) and they were ace stoppers but because they were sintered, made a howling noise.

i think pads are gonna squeal in the wet regardless of brand, ive got 3 different types of brakes and they all make noise in the wet. they still stop just as well as in the dry, just noisy (esp the formulas!!)
