If i get a BC racing license now will i have to renew it at the end of the year? also how much is it to renew? do i have to buy another full license or simply a few quid to renew it?

    I've not done it myself but I'm pretty sure that if you took out a license now then BC will basically give you an extra month free and extend it through until the end of 2008. I'm sure if you contacted their member services department on Monday they'd be able to help.

    BC Membership (need a min of Silver membership @ £34 to get a race licence) lasts one year from the day you first join. The racing licence (which is in addition to the membership) runs a calendar year (ie expires 31st Dec) and costs £31 (it used to be half-price after 1st July but I can't see that this is still the case). Annual renewal is therefore £65 minimum.

    I'm pretty sure if you get a licence now, it'll run until 31/12/2008 but as Andy says you'll need to contact BC Member Services on 0161 274 2010.
