DT Revolution spokes for a 29er disk wheel?

I'm going to build some new wheels for my 29er, and I want them nice and light.
I was thinking of using revolutions, but I've only built using them once, and it was a long time ago.
Anyone have any strong opinions either way (anecdotal, or based on sound engineering arguments) as to why it will be fine/rubbish?
For what it's worth, I will be using DT Swiss X470D rims, so light, but not super light like a Stans ZTR Race. Hubs will be Hope Pro 2. I will build with alloy nipples as I always do.

nothing wrong with revolutions other than they are not too stiff torsionally so getting the required built tension can be a pain. But if you are aware of the issue you can work around it.

I can't find any warnings on the DT site about revolutions, but then, there isn't much information at all.
I figured that Sapim may assume disk brakes would be run on 26" wheels, so they may be even less recommended on 29" wheels.
So, I was wondering if anyone knew of any problems using revolutions for a great big 29er mtb wheel with disk brakes.
Personally i would be dropping them a line asking the questions. (dont forget to mention the pattern and number).

But again i do not like alloy nipples on anything with less than 32 spokes.
