DT Revolution spokes for a 29er disk wheel?

I'm going to build some new wheels for my 29er, and I want them nice and light.
I was thinking of using revolutions, but I've only built using them once, and it was a long time ago.
Anyone have any strong opinions either way (anecdotal, or based on sound engineering arguments) as to why it will be fine/rubbish?
For what it's worth, I will be using DT Swiss X470D rims, so light, but not super light like a Stans ZTR Race. Hubs will be Hope Pro 2. I will build with alloy nipples as I always do.

Oh, should have added that I weigh 10 1/2 stone, ride the jeyest form of XC, and rarely leave the ground (on purpose anyway!), so they are not going to be abused.0

Sorry what are you actually asking?
nothing wrong with revolutions other than they are not too stiff torsionally so getting the required built tension can be a pain. But if you are aware of the issue you can work around it."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Well, I noticed that Sapim Lasers, which are a similar spoke, are not recommended for disk brake usage.
I can't find any warnings on the DT site about revolutions, but then, there isn't much information at all.
I figured that Sapim may assume disk brakes would be run on 26" wheels, so they may be even less recommended on 29" wheels.
So, I was wondering if anyone knew of any problems using revolutions for a great big 29er mtb wheel with disk brakes.0 -
i should not think so as they state they are stronger than some of their DB spokes.
Personally i would be dropping them a line asking the questions. (dont forget to mention the pattern and number)."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

last time I dropped DT a line, they told me to contact my local distributer (Madison), and I've never had any success with those guys!0

from the info i have seen why not but 3 cross.
But again i do not like alloy nipples on anything with less than 32 spokes."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
