  • Totally agree.

Take recent example of Scottish footballer being arrested for possession of cocaine. he was suspended by his club, charged, fined for his mischief and then promptly re-instated by his club. There was nothing at all from the National federation. There was no proof that he took any of the cocaine (probably due to the complete lack of testing in football) but I understand possession goes two ways. Its either possession with the intent to supply, which is a custodial issue, or possession for self use. Well assuming the lastter as he wasn't locked up, he should have been dealt with by the Scottish Football Association. But he was not.

David Millar never failed a test but was still suspended for two year. Musseuw never failed a test but was banned for possession.

Cycling has a reputation as a drugs sport purely becuase it tests for it and is doing somethign about the issue. Athletics was similar until the Ohurorougo affair. Would she have gotten off if she hadn't won the world title??

Football is just soft on drugs. Period!!!!! You aint got a problem if you dont admit its there!
