    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Likewise my Dolan-built Cougar road bike in SLX New - late '90s and has put up with all sorts of conditions (snow, rain, old railway trackbeds). Treated it to a new paint job a couple of years ago, but still has the original chrome plating in excellent nick. Wonder if all 3 makers sub-contracted their plating to the same company?
