Which are the best replacement pads. Due to the weather i'm going for sintered but heared that the avid pads dont last. EBC and Goodrich dont seem to do them for juicys any more, are the swissstops any good? I'm currently riding on stock orgainic avid pads but the front brake is down on power, i think at some point they got contaminated. I have tryed soaking them in meths and rubbing them with wet/dry but they still dont perform. Is there any truth in what i've read on forums about pads only lasting a couple of rides....surely not or you'd be looking at a £300 bill each year on pads alone. if this was the case we'd all be on v-brakes coz lets face it they were okay.
