folding tyres (whats the difference)

hello, just wondering whats the difference between a normal tyre and a folding one. apart from the price.

the weight save realy worth the extra like or is it minimal tring to find difference on panaracers site but carnt make sence of it.

out of those two the cinder, but personally if you want a mud tyre go trailraker or swampthing0

Folding are so much nicer, mainly because they have much less rotational mass. so feel so much more lively. Much quicker acceleration. The trailrakers are really good mud tyres but are really slow rolling, I've just put mine on my singlespeed and they have made my bike lighter, faster accelerating but lowered my top speed! I'd be tempted to get them in 1.9"0
