I've had mine for about 4 years. It's done me well, but that years model was not that light and the geometry was only really good if you were thrashing singletrack / jumping. All day XC rides were a nightmare.0

mostly singletrack and few jumps and drop offs. mostly for generally messing about on. and this years model 20070

Its not very well specced. The drivetrain and cranks I would expect to see on a 300 quid bike, and the brakes arent that hot either.0

Have you got a bike that's got some donor parts. If so I'd personally go down the lines of a frame and forks in the sales.
