Just got some off ebay, how do you get the stuff to stick as when I peeled off the backing it wasn't very sticky and no way is it going to stick on my frame.
What am I doing wrong??

a clean and dry and WARM frame. and a hairdryer might help.

  • Theres a protective film on both sides of the tape. Maybe you took the film of the non sticky side hence why it wont stick?

I had no problem getting mine to stick.
  • I think that could be it as I only took one side off, I did look if there was another side but couldn't get it apart but it was getting late so I'll try again tonight
  • Is this copter tape good? Im looking at getting some to save the "water colour" paintjob on my DMR.
  • Apparently so once I get the damn stuff to stick on the frame
  • I take it that the tape feels pretty thick? How much length did you get and for how much?
  • Got it off ebay and it was a fiver for 5 metres

Other option is to use the 3m film they use to protect the fronts of cars.
