What is considered to be the best sealed gear cable system.
I have a set of flak jackets on one build and must say they are pretty good, however I have heard good things about transfil and gore also...
What's people opinions - fancy something different....
Thanks

The inbred came with cable guides for full outers, bought some avid straight jackets over 18months ago, still shifting the same as they day i fitted them.
Got bored with having to change the cables on the stinky due to water ingress. So i took a drill and a dremel to the cable guides. 18 months on, stil lon the same outers and inners.Intense Socom

Transfil flying snakes were recommended to me on here and they're ace imo. No matinence issues whatsoever....yet"If i was a slug i don't think i could handle it, i'd just throw myself in the salt pot" -Karl pilkington
Whyte 46, i fall off it alot!!0 -
I must agree Sir HC - even though I have only been using them for a few months shifting is perfect. Also I noticed that the cables that come with the kit have not appeared to have stretched - normally I re-adjust but with these I never had to - pretty damn good.
I saw these advertised in WMB - seem a little pricey though.....

I would never go back to having exposed cables so am fitting them to my new build - makes a hell of a difference - they won't fit on the Marin though due to bottom cable routing.0 -
They are nigh on the same as flying pythons and Clarks clim8 - but twice the price!0

You're right - doesn't seem to be any difference - have you got a linky to the Clim8s?0
