Swelling behind the knee ...

Just recently, I've been getting a bit of discomfort behind my knee/top of the calf. I guess maybe there's something gone a bit awry with pedal/cleat saddle height type stuff, and just wanted a reminder of which adjustment is likely to assist.

So the discomfort feels like a tight calf right at the top buts leads to an area that feels swollen to the touch at the back of the knee area slightly to the inside. On the bike, it hurts most as I point my knee out to get a bottle out of its cage for example.

I think this is slightly worse on my MTB cranks - so maybe the wider stance is part of the cause.

Thanks for any tips
