If this is true, my respect for the man just grew. He's been taking a lot of flak for things he couldn't possibly have been involved in, lately. That the sponsor could get out of the contract when it knew what was going on in the first place would be a grave injustice, in my view. I know I'd fight back in front of such hypocrisy. Then again, I'd probably hire detectives that a slightly more on the subtle side. Going up to the former communications director and asking him point blank strikes me as... well... not very subtle.

Hm, Bild isn't the most respectable of sources... although the report contains direct quotes, so if it was wrong, you would expect those quoted (such as ex Telekom spokesman Kindervater) to protest.=====================
