My first trip to watch a cross race, so many of the names were new to me, but I really got into the atmosphere (as only the Belgians know how to cheer their own) and the racing was fast and furious.

Thoroughly recommend it as a good day trip for us southeners (it's only 1 hours drive from the Chunnel) or even better combine it with the Ghent Six on the same day.

Here's a few pics:

Wouldn't be cross without some climbs that can only be tackled on foot

But of course, the sandy descents are just a taxing as the climbs

    Fantastic pics Bronzie. Good stuff.
  • Yeah great pics, looks amazing. From CN it sounded a good race too.

I'd considered going myself and combining it with the Ghent 6 this year, definitely next year after seeing those pics!
