I don't like slating companies but this time I'm so annoy with their slow deliveries that I will say something here about a Allrerrain Cycles.

I made two orders last Monday, one with Wiggle and one with Allterrain cycles, ATC. Wiggle delivered my goods on Tuesday, FREE delivery and next day as usual.... I'm still waiting for delivery of goods ordered from ATC  this is the second time I have ordered from them, the first time I waited over a week and this time is not exception.

So, if you want something delivered fast and Free then order from Wiggle or CRC.

ATC, get your act together

Wiggle are ridiculously good at deliveries. But a week isnt that bad. I remember the bad old days of 'allow 28 days for delivery'. By the time it had arrived you had forgotten you'd ordered it.

Have you spoken to them about it ? I was annoyed when a delivery from another shop seemed to take ages - turns out it was my fault as I'd given my card number wrong and their email to me was trapped as spam.

No, I have not talked to them but I'm sure that is slow delivery as it was last time.

More than a week is slow delivery nowadays, I do a lot of shopping on internet and good companies that want to offer a good service are spot on delivery time.

Fast delivery is just good business, people will remember and come back.

Wiggle are so good is almost unfair to compare them to anyone else. A week isn't so bad, GB Cycles once took a week just to tell me the goods were out of stock ! Just vote with your feet and don't order from them again. Plenty of competition you could use

  • i think you should have a word with them and just tell them how you feel.

you might as well give them a chance to fix it... it might have just been a bad day or something like that.
if no one tells them, then they just go on thinking its all ok.

I agree, I will let them know their delivery time is not good enough and will do my shoping elsewhere.

The first time I ordered from them I thought it was a one off so I bought from them again but it seems that slow delivery is common practice with them.

Wiggle and CRC are pretty good for delivery and I use them regurlarly....

  • FWIW I bought tyres from ATC back in the summer, service was fine on that occasion with delivery about 3 days after ordering via the website. I had just ordered a light set from them before I happended on this thread, will advise what happens now.

Well, 3 days for delivery is fine, I'd say that is about normal delivery time for the companies I buy stuff from. However, there are lots of companies that will deliver next day if you order before 12 and their reward is customers coming back time and time again.

  • All terrain is quite a big normal bike shop. I think Wiggle and CRC are more of a mail order only company.

Wiggle and CRC are very good have set the service levels so high the others have to match them or risk loss of trade.

That is business.... and that is how a business should be run, providing the customer with the best service the business can afford.

I phoned ATC yesterday to find out why the delay and they said they were very busy and they were dealing with my order.... 9 days so far and no sign of my parcel  I bought 2 chains from another company on Sunday evening and they arrived this morning.

If I don't get the parcel by Friday I will cancel the order.

Whatever the outcome is, they lost me as a customer.

Do you know of any other company that has a slow delivery service?

I have used ATC and found them very slow (over a week), this is not good enough, however I have used them since when their price was substantially better than I could get from Wiggle or CRC. But unless that is the case I wouldn't use them. Their business would surely benefit by improving delivery times to under a week.
  • I wouldn't use them again. Ordered some tyres - they took 2 weeks to tell me they weren't in stock - even though they were showing stock on their website.

  • Well folks, I can now feedback that my lightset has arrived all present and correct this afternoon, having been ordered via the website late on Saturday afternoon. I tried to amend the order via e-mail on Sunday, adding another item I should have ordered in the first place but forgot. Got a phone call early Mon am advising that the item I wanted was out of stock - no big deal really, that can happen to any supplier (I subsequently ordered this item from Chain Reaction Cycles late am Monday, that package has arrived this afternoon as well!!).

So total time span from order to delivery was 2 working days for ATC, 1 day for CRC, personally I am happy with both these performances.

I ordered a light set, a couple of tools and some lubricant - maybe they are too busy to go round colleting more than one item at a time

You mean Dave Hinde has a delivery service? - I thought they just pocketed the money and then told customers to **** off.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.
