hey guys, time for a new chain. i run 8 speed (thats enough hassle, so i cant imagine what 9spd would be like), and ive heard that a 9sd chain would run better than an 8spd on an 8spd set up. any truth to this??? cheers.

oh yeh, dunno if it makes amy difference bit i was gonna get a SRAM chain (heard good things), i run a single front chainring (DMR saturn ring), have a shimano cassette and the newXT derallieur.

if you have 8 spd then you HAVE to use an 8spd chain. 9spd are thinner and not compatable.
