Help and advice for a problematic helmet camera

Does anyone own one of these digital recorders?

We just got one for our club and can't get the bugger to work. We're wondering if anyone knows where we can download dirvers, firmware updates etc???
Or how else we can get it to record (at the minute when connected the camera gives black and white strobbing image and the baterry keeps showing up as flat suddenly and turning off) A bit of help of advice would be top as we were looking forward to filming or ride tomorrow.
