    personally think the rear suspenions is rubbish a faff and expensive to service..

    I'd also want to take a close look at the carbon frame in the flesh...as I would probably for any 2nd had bike I'd think of buying
  • have you ever owned/ridden an epic and have any basis on the expensive servicing claim ? there are far worse full sus bikes out there for maintenence....
  • Providing that it is as it seems and no cracks etc in the frame, I would say its a good buy. A very nice bike indeed - would go over it with a fine toothed comb though! :wink:

    Ask to see some evidence of ownership. If its only ten months old they should have the original sales docs.

    Gumtree is occasionaly used as an outlet for nicked bikes.

    turns out to be a total con. the person allegedly selling is in germany, but the bike is in england in the ebay warehouse (?).

    some fool may believe him one day.
