Has anyone ordered from http://www.bestbuybikes.co.uk/ before? I placed an order over a month ago now and they've taken my money and not responded to the now 6 communications to them including the phone messages when it's been possible, emails and messages through their webpage. I given them a week to reply before I start a legal challenge to get my money back. Looking on google maps they seam to opperate out of a residential house. Is it just me or is this a con website or are they just terrible at running a business?

They use software supplied by i-bikeshop who have felt it necessary to put a disclaimer on their own website distancing themselves from bestbuybikes.

Looks like you're not the first.

Thank you very much for both your replies, you've been most helpful. I think I'll try calling then on that new telephone number and see if they pick up. If they can't fulfil my order I'll just get my credit card company to get the money back. Thanks again for your help.0

I called them on the number supplied by http://www.i-bikeshop.com/ and the guy was quite helpful. He blamed it on the software and the email that have been backed up for two weeks but he's now going away to sort out my order and said it should only be a week or so. Looks like I might get this sorted but was the money saved worth it?0

On checking their website this morning it appears they have gone out of business. I hope you managed to get your money back webbma?___________________________________________

Well, last week I asked for a refund as the guy couldn't tell me when my order might arrive. Everytime he asked what I ordered. The business just looks like a total sham and today I chased them up and the phone line has been disconnected. I've called my credit card company and I'm trying to use the payment protection to get them to claim the money. The final resort if to turn up at their shop and demand a refund... I've shopped on the net for years and never had an issue. This is karma rebalancing the years of pain-free internet shopping0

They would be committing a criminal offence if they gave you preferential treatment to the other creditors by refunding you in full
If order was for >£100 then your credit card may be the best way to get your money backWant to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

 Bestbuybikes and their funds relay Cycle City are no longer trading and have been replaced by another cycle shop called Bright Cycles who are also operating with the same telephone number (0208 5424076). Spoke to Ed Bright who said he is getting a lot of their post regarding incomplete orders. As for the whereabouts of Simon Phillips - Bahamas maybe?
Ed Bright has indicated that anyone who has suffered as a result of this crapy company can buy through him at cost.
I assume that there is still no response from sales@bestbuybikes.co.uk0
