Do these have the capbility to change several gears at a time or not. Various other posts hint that they don't and many bike shops seem unsure! I am thinking of Centaur in particular. Also, do the new left levers still work on a ratchet which allows trimming of the front mech, or have they now gone the Shimano way of single click with no adjustment?

    With rear shifting, when changing from small to big you can change 3 (I think) at a time. When changing big to small it's one at a time, unless you go to Chorus or Record where you'll get multiple changes in both directions.

    For the front mech, you can trim when you're in the small ring. In the big ring it's one click and you changed down.
