Stumpjumper HT frames?

im currently riding a 2006 Kona blast which i upgraded some RS Tora 318 forks and want to get a lighter frame fr it as i want to start XC seriously. my mate rates his 05 specialized stumpjumper HT very highly but is a small frame and Im 6 foot 4 so it like a bmx on me i wondered what people thought about the stumpy and where can i get a frame from? (not carbon)

    the alloy s.j s works hardtail frames are like gold dust allthough you might get lucky because you're going to need a big one pos 21"......

    I managed to get hold of a Stumpjumper frame through my LBS, They had broken up a Stumpjumper Comp and stuck the frame in the shop window. I got it for £300 three years ago and I still have it, it the gf's off road bike and my commuting bike.

    Like Supersonic said, locate your locat Spesh dealer and they may be able to sort something out especially if they have one of last years bikes lying around.

    At 6'4" you want at least a 19" possibly a 21"
