Looks interesting. Easy to carry in a seat pack etc.

    yes my mates got one
I think its a bit of a gimmick. and whilst it works it doesnt work that well
whats wrong with a good quality minipump ? they dont have a stringy bit to break!
I never touched it! It was broke when I got here.
  • Never!!

Used a small pump once that I got from decathalon, then threw it in the bin, lucky my mate was on the trail with me and had a decent mini pump. I only wanted to top up the tyre pressure slightly but instead the tyre was going down quicker than I could pump.

Blackburn make pretty good mini pumps with 2 stroke action to inflate the tyre quicker, I have a specialized Airforce 2 pump, its OK

Sore ribs.................I must start walking the trail 1st before steep descents into the unknown!
  • Emily bought one a few years ago and it's been pretty good. The build quality is good and it allows her to get high pressures (70-90 psi) into her slicks, which she'd never manage with a normal trail pump.

It does take a while to get the air volume in, although I think they've improved this on later models.

The only other comment is that the hose was a bit short, making it a little awkward getting everything in the right place to get the pump in the right place to get your foot on it.

    ive used one before
next door neighbour has one and i agree with ClAS they are a bit rubbish and let more air out than it puts in and they are very expensive compared to a good mini pump
