hi, i've been looking for some 27 inch rims, 36 hole, eyeletted for a while and cant find any

if anyone knows of a bike shop that still has some in stock then i'd be more than happy to ring and pay postage on them / travel to get them (london is travelable the gf wants to go for teh day )

i've tried st john st cycles, wiggle, crc, evans, on-one, planet x etc and cant see any on thier website (there are some on st john st but arent quite what i want)

if anyone knows any websites to order them off for me to try, or bike shops to visit / ring please let me know

thanks

ps, as i need to get them quick i appologise for posting here and in tech, just thinking i might get a lead quicker :)

    SJS bikes do some

Or you can have my old Rigidas on Maillards (will swop for some nice...well, anything round really)

due to the width of my rear drop out i'll proberbly have to change the hub / re-build it anyway, i've got one already done hence the 36 hole requirement

are your rigidas 36 hole with riveted eyelets?

    Ohhh yessssss

I'd need some new wheels instead of current ones, and frame would need to be bent to accommodate modern hubs

Honestly, try SJS, or try the CTC forums, the moss green mob must love 27" still

    Why not just go metric?

dont think my brakes will reach to put 700c's on

random sized hubs can be aquired from numerous sources...

i'd say dont bend frames, the back end of mine has been opened enough that it wouldnt take much to put a mountain bike hub in there!
