hi, anyone know of a light and strong 31.6mm seatpost, which has some layback as well please? I know light an dstrong don't always go together but I'm 77kg and it will go on a good bike so I don't want it to weigh a huge amount.

My heart always sinks a little when I read that some guys consider 77kgs to be heavy.
Anyway, you'd be hard pressed to find a stronger seatpost than a Thomson Elite. Pretty too.0 -
Yep, Thomson Elite- very strong and beautifuly made (i have one and i also weigh 77kg)pm0

Do you know if you can reverse the layback post to make a good TT post? I asked before but no-one quite knew if the saddle angle would work on the clamp mechanism.0
