Kona kikapu deluxe

Does anyone have a kona kikapu deluxe 07, looking for new cross country bike and have seen these at £799 which i think is a good price any feed back would be good. Ride mainly down hill but with the weather we have had this year have not done much riding and put a load of weight on,so just need xc bike to get out there and do some riding. Is there any other bikes that i should look at about the same price.

    Focus Raven 2007 from Wiggle at £850, 2008 is £999.
    Has the Fox F100 RLC 100mm fork which is worth £450 on its own - unbelievable value bike.
    Rides fast and smooth. The tyres are low profile but work OK in everything but wet mud for me and really fly on hard pack.
    I've always thought Kona's are underspecced and overweight for the money but they seem to be capable of taking a beating.

    have had a look but they only have xl left, but i see what you mean about the spec think i will save a bit more money and get an 08 model thanks
