Disc Mount Adaptor

I wonder if anyone can help, I have just brought a 180mm Shimano XT Rotor to replace my 160mm.
I was also sent a Hope Mount Adaptor IS to IS +20mm to fit on my Revelation forks.
My question is if this adaptor is the right one to fit my Shimano XT Brake callipers as it doesn't come with any instructions and have looked on the Park Tools website and cant find anywhere where it shows how this adaptor fits.
Can anyone help

Your XT caliper will be a post mount caliper. You should already have an IS to 160 post mount adapter fastened to it. You can either use the 20mm IS to IS to step this existing arrangement 20mm further away from the axle which is messy. Many thanks for that I thought it was the wrong adaptor I needed after half an hour trying different combos trying to fit it on my fork0
