ahhhh....when mounted on the front they keep rubbing on the tyre.

Any advice please (or a stiff drink)

    This can be a pig of a job. How are they attached to the frame? If they are screwed to the underside of the forks with an allen headed bolt this cannot be adjusted. If however they are attached by means of the bolt attaching the front brake, then it may be possible to push the guard up towards the forks before tightening. You may have to bend the tag which has the bolt hole of the pliable mudguard attachment, away from the headset so as to push this up enough to clear the tyre.The length of the stays is also critical. As these affect the curve of the guard they have to be adjusted to stop them fouling the tyre.
    I hope this is clear but be assured that no-one enjoys this job.
