Anybody got experience of this bike? Also what pigeon hole would you put it into?

Its a an AM bike. Drivetrain based on the Idrive.

is that good or bad mate? Would it be ok with xc?

Never ridden one, but the spec doesnt look too lardy. Saying that it will be several pounds heavier than a full bore XC bike! Its more of an allrounder: personally I wouldnt use one just for XC.
