Bike Alarms

I've been toying with the idea of getting a bike alarm. There are motion detecting ones (which I don't like the idea of!), and cable ones, which sound better but usually have pathetic little cables so require a normal lock as well. There's also the Oxford Boss Alarm, but that seems pretty useless for bicycles to me.

Is there anything good out there I've missed?
