Road bike for £500 to £650

WHat is the best road bike for up to £650. I don't cycle in races or anything, ut do the occasional 50 mile race.
i have looked at:
boardman comp
Claud Butler Vincenza
Focus Variado Expert
cube aerial comp

    lots and lots of detailed threads on this already. Do a search on the Road forum .There was one only last week which allowed you to build a bike from parts with the prices and sources listed.
    At the end of the day its your choice . You are the one riding it :roll:

    worth adding a giant scr2 to your shortlist.

    recently had same decision to make and went for the SCR (main alternative was the comp). went for SCR as needed proper mudguards and more relaxed geometry.

    Are you in London? If so I have a 2006 Focus Variado Expert (Full Ultegra) for sale. The bike is in great nick and is going for £400, I paid £800 in July 06. Let me know if you are interested.
