Tyre storage

I've just stuck my summer tyres & a set of slicks I used for a recent (London to Paris) charity cycle ride up in the loft.

They're hanging up, not laying down or resting on the ground.

Is this the best place/way to store them?

    dry and dark but not too warm .

    haging or lying down, does not matter.
