Servo Wave???

I'm getting some Avid BB7's. The question is what levers? Do I go for bog-standard FR-5's or do I go for the new Shimano XT's with the servo wave tech thing??? In theory they are great, but has anyone every used them???

Servo wave is a long standing Shimano name for a variable leverage brake lever. It pulls the cable in quickly, then slows down increasing modulation and power. Personally I'd get Avid Speed Dial 7, as you can alter the leverage to what you like.0
