My 83mm cranks in a 73mm shell?

Hi guys,
I just bought an orange patriot frame and i'm putting all my components from my old Big Hit to the Patriot. The big hit had an 83mm shell and the Saint cranks fitted perfectly. Is there any converter i could use to get the cranks and BB to fit the Patriot?
Could i just fit a BB mounted chain device to make up the difference?
