Specialized Pave Seatpost
Quite fancy one of these posts, but they look a bit weird near the top and have sensibly enough, been designed wit Spesh Compact geometry in mind. My bike's kinda semi sloping, so I'm just wondering whether I'll be leaving as much exposed as is necessary to get past the insert and onto the circular cross-section post.
I can't see anything in the spesh manual from their site, so can anyone advise on what the minimum exposure from say the top of the seat collar to the saddle rails might be ?

it's not as big as it looks in the catalogues / online - i'd say that it's about 50-60mm tops.
have you a local specialized dealer - go and see for yourself - it's on all the tarmac and roubaix models as well as some of the higher-end allez.
nice looking post for the money - the s-works model is a lot neater looking though - and still a reasonable price.0 -
yep, s-works is worth the addtional £15 or so for teh weight saving.0
