i'm buying the Rockshox 2008 revelation 426 dual air, from merlin cycles (great price). i have a 2006 kona kiakpu and was wondering whether the suspension stem ( the bit that slots into the bike ) is a standard size?

thanks.

    Yes.

Parktools has a good guide on fitting them.
  • I bought those forks and a Hope headset for my Marin about 6 weeks ago from Merlin - they fitted the lot for £10 while I waited, despite being pretty busy. I'll certainly deal with them again in the future.

EDIT - they did this despite selling me the parts after applying the same discount as quoted on their internet site. Take note "Tredz" etc who have seperate internet and in-store prices.
  • Yes they will fit your bike. However, you will need to cut the steerer (stem?) to the correct length.
