BB advice...

Not sure if this should be in the buying or tech bit but here goes...

Can you use a non RaceFace X-Type BB with a RaceFace Evolve XC Forged Crankset? I fitted a second BB only 3 months ago and it has started to creak and click already? I like the crankset and would rather not have to replace the whole lot. If I did though, can you guys recommend something a bit more durable?

some fit some do not. Shimano do. Has the bb shell been faced?

and you can get seperate bearings.
