Argh.
So My Bloody Valentine reform, announce 3 live dates going on sale this morning. Woo hoo I think.
Hit the website from 8:55 with constant refreshes until it says "Buy Tickets", put in "2", fill in details and by the time their poxy system has tried to submit the sale tickets are sold out. It should bleeding well reserve them for 3-4 minutes.
Grrrrr.

Which site was that?0

Not heard of that one!
Try viagogo in a couple of days ( http://www.viagogo.co.uk/ )
Yes - it's a ticket touting web site. Not sure of the legality but hey0 -
Get saving now and buy them on ebay when they inevitably appear.0

Me pissed off too. :x
THere will probably be 2000 tickets (or whatever capacity at the Roundhouse is) on Ebay by lunchtime.
I have found that it's also worth turning up at the gig (if local) and trying to get tickets outside the venue either from touts or other gig-goers. In these days of sell out frenzy it's not unusual for people to get a bit overexcited and end up with tix they don't want.0 -
Hopefully they'll announce more dates.
I still can't believe they don't reserve the tickets as soon as you hit buy. It's doubley annoying because my brother would make the trip to the UK if I'd got a ticket and I've not seen him since 2000 and he's never met his nephew.

No - G. Geniuses - why didn't I think of that.0 -
Keep trying! I know Ticketline often dribble a few more tickets on-line throughout the morning - not sure if other sellers do the same.
With you all the way on the 'ebay are b*stards' thing. I appreciate it's all supply / demand but to deny people the opportunity to watch a band they love just so you can make a few quid is horrible.0 -
The seetickets site is particularly annoying in this respect. Ticketmaster site is not much better either. And they are the big 2 for most big name tours.
They are not exactly speedy in the dispatch department either - got some Foo Fighters tickets for this weekend which I ordered (& paid for) in August and they finally turned up this Tuesday much to my relief. :roll:0 -
Yeah they can be a bit scary. I've had tickets arrive on the day before!0

Missed them too.

I thought Ebay enforce a rule that you aren't allowed to sell tickets above face value (and booking fee)? I know of people who have sold tickets on ebay before and had been instructed to pull the auction if the bidding got above this rate.
I suppose with the high number of ebay transactions they can't enforce it every time though.0 -
Keep trying, looks like they may be staggering the sales - quite a few people on the Drowned In Sound music forum seem to managing to get them at the mo'.0

Depends how much beer we've had...0

I see there are now three dates in London - all sold out according to seetickets!
I just managed to get two tickets for sat night from http://www.roundhouse.org.uk/#loop, or at least I think I did.0 -
Yay! Just got my confirmation email....
Those who spent £100 a ticket on ebay must be gutted!0 -
Good new Shazzz. Now Mr Shields just needs to finish up this album and get it out to us!Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0

Anyone think they'll still play at ear-drum-shattering volume? Or will they turn it down a bit due to their, er, 'advancing' years? If anyone saw Kevin Shields with Primal Scream a few years ago they'll be fully aware that the man can still make some serious noise with a guitar!0
-
It wouldn't be MBV without the volume. I also saw him with Primal Scream and he was pretty loud at times.

Oh, I couldn't care less about the album - I'm just trying to make a quick buck on ebay.
Also saw Mr S with Primal Scream. In fact I was listening to Accelerator full bore last night as I strolled home. Fantastic!0 -

I've sold on ebay before, for actual genuine reasons rather than genuine reasons 5 seconds after it's sold out... I really hate those fu<kersPurveyor of sonic doom

They're definitely going down the drip feed route. That date was sold out earlier today!0
