Hi there, I work in an LBS and currently have a customer with an autistic child who requires stabillisers for a 24" wheel. It is a single speed, so no problems there, but I cannot find a manufacturer who makes them or a distributer who distributes. Does anyone know where I can find a set? Would really like to help this guy.

Thanks,
Matt

  • I can't help you with the stabilisers, but perhaps he could just take the cranks or pedals off, lower the seat a bit and let the child scoot with it, just until he or she has learned to balance?

Wait! I have found what you need:

They do adult stabilisers and also bicycle->tricycle conversion kits as well.
