Brake and Gear cables

I am servicing a friends Cannondale mountain bike which has Suntour 7 speed gears. The Inners and outers need replacing can you tell me whether I need suntour replacements or what I can use instead and suggest where I can get them from thanks for your help

Nope, the cables are generic. Something like these will be perfect or you can go with brand x if you want something cheaper.

I always use flying snakes by transfil for my cables, they are totally sealed but don't run a full outer. Really light and so precise, plus you'll never get crud in them! You can find them at wiggle
