Well I've put what i think. Are you kidding which is better? bmx by a mile compared to mtb dirt jumping. I've had a DMR rhythm so I can compare too. the more manouverable the bike for jumping the better. more tricks etc you can do. MTB's are too big for tricks and its so much more fun on a bmx. I'd choose a bmx over an mtb for street park and jumps anyday.
On the other hand I have an On-one Inbred 456 for XC and might be getting a marin quake 7.3 for DH/freeride.

I thought it was a silly question because bmx's are obviously better for that sort of riding.
