XTR jockey wheels - different size?

I recently tried to replace the upper jockey wheel on an XTR rear mech with a "standard SHimano Jockey wheel" acc to Wiggle. Trouble is the little bolt that goes through the jockey wheel only just makes it through the new one and the circlip won't now go on at the end. Its as though the "standard" jockey wheels are thicker than the XTR version - is this the case? If so where can I find XTR jockey wheels on line as neither Wiggle nor CRC list them?

    RDM 970 replacement jockey wheels can be found on ultimatepursuits site and ordered online and sent to your LBS for collection.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    ebay :P non standard ones but they're made to fit and look good?
